COR 163 - Core Social & Cultural Inquiry - Community Credits: 3
General education course in techniques of social and cultural critique and investigation. Students analyze social and cultural systems (i.e., religious, health, and/or education institutions) via methods of philosophical, political, and cultural inquiry. Students identify similarities and differences within systems that affect social behaviors and influence worldviews, and use these findings to situate and reflect upon their own belief systems and experiences in social, historical, and cultural context. Themes and titles vary by section but focus on respectful and inclusive community.
