COM 318 - Principles of Advertising Credits: 3
Prerequisite(s): MRK 310 for Business Administration or Accounting majors, BUS 101 or ART 218 or COM 208 for all other students. This is an intermediate-level advertising course on the structure of the advertising industry, including agency, marketing and public relations uses. The course covers advertising rationales, concepts, ethics, research methods, strategies, planning, and the media mix including buying and placement considerations. This course is cross-listed as MRK 318 .
