EDD 349 - Foundations of Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing

Credits: 3

Prerequisite(s): EDU 202WI , SLS 201 , and SLS 202 .
Philosophical approaches to education of the deaf and hard of hearing, psychological characteristics of deaf and hard of hearing populations, social adaptation of the deaf and hard of hearing will be discussed. History of the education of the deaf and hard of hearing will be reviewed. Participation in a 30-hour practicum is required. Offered fall semester only.
