NAS 104 - Life Science Credits: 3
Prerequisite(s): MAT 113 or placement. This non-science major, course presents a survey of the fundamental principles of biology, with emphasis on the application of these concepts to relevant personal, social, and environmental issues. Lectures, discussions, laboratories, and demonstrations will be used to facilitate a basic understanding of the life sciences. This course satisfies the General Education IV. Ways of Knowing, category b. Natural Scientific Inquiry requirement.
