NAS 105 - Earth Science Credits: 3
Prerequisite(s): MAT 113 or placement. An analysis of the basic geological processes at work on and within the earth and a review of the impact of human activities at the earth’s surface. The course is designed to permit students time for investigation and analysis by providing one “hands on” laboratory period each week along with two hours of lecture. This course satisfies the General Education IV. Ways of Knowing, category b. Natural Scientific Inquiry requirement.
