PHI 423 - Logic II: Symbolic Logic Credits: 3
Prerequisite(s): PHI 223 . An introduction to the artificial language or symbols used by philosophers to express arguments without the imprecision of normal language. Of special interest in this course are the distinctions between deductive and inductive arguments and an exploration of probability theory. This course is highly recommended for students enrolled in the Law Program.
