REA 142 - College Reading

Prerequisite(s): Placement or consent of instructor.
Students engage in intensive practice in reading comprehension and analysis while strengthening higher-order critical thinking skills. Students will also improve reading rate and flexibility, learn how to decode college level textbooks, and develop regular and specialized vocabulary. Students are placed in this course based on SAT/ACT score and/or diagnostic testing.
