This course is an examination of the techniques and conventions of writing memoir. Students will read and discuss effective examples of contemporary memoir in conjunction with writing creative non-fiction assignments throughout the semester. Students will engage in providing and receiving constructive feedback during workshops to improve their creative non-fiction writing and reflect on their growth as writers.
