ENG 354 - Women's Literature

Prerequisite(s): Sophomore standing.
This course explores the role of women as revealed in the literature of our world. Drawing on both historical and contemporary works of writers such as Austen, Woolf, Tan, Morrison, Atwood, Erdrich, and Mukherjee, the course examines the evolution of the perception of women in society and ponders the future of women, both in literature and society.
