Prerequisite(s): ESE 502 .
The student will learn interdisciplinary teaming strategies for teaching with severe/profound disabilities, to include: identifying and utilizing available resources; recognizing the role of parents, teachers, and other professionals and incorporating them into the treatment and instructional team; employing a functional community-based curriculum; teaching employability skills; and transition planning for post-school life.
