INT 432 - Human Rights

This course will explore and aim to clarify the problems associated with defining, establishing, and protecting human rights. The class will study the history and development of the human rights regime including the cases and individuals who were critical actors in its evolution. The historical and contemporary context of human rights issues will be examined in depth. Students will gain insight and understanding of many varied issues related to human rights. POS 432
