ART 323 - Motion Graphics

This studio/lecture course focuses on motion graphics. The course will emphasize animation principles, narrative structure and visual storytelling through a series of studio projects. Students will explore how the elements of time and motion influence the way they use vector artwork, photographic imagery, typography and video to express an idea or communicate a message. The course will provide an introduction to industry-standard tools for creating and editing time-based media. After successfully completing the course, students will gain a solid foundation of motion graphics to support their creativity and enhance their digital skillset.
