ECO 345 - Business Philosophy of an Honorable Entrepreneur

Credits: 3

This course provides an overview of honorable entrepreneurship, and how enlightened self-interest can help an entrepreneur avoid a separation of the honorable and the useful, which is an ethical challenge faced by leaders in all parts of society. By practicing maxims and duties promulgated by important moral, political, and economic thinkers that span more than two millennia, honorable entrepreneurs can foster general human flourishing, repair America’s triune social order, and create wealth and a surplus that benefits the poorest among us. This course is cross-listed as BUS 345 .
