EDD 473/573 - Methods of Instruction for DHH Students Credits: 3
Prerequisite(s): EDD 349 , EDD 370 , Admission to the Education Department, Senior Standing. A study of the principles and methods of organizing and teaching academic content to students who are deaf and hard of hearing, including procedures for evaluating academic achievement and the design of IEPs.
This course addresses state and national certification standards required for students enrolled in the undergraduate Deaf Education Program.
Participation in a 30-hour practicum is required. Offered Fall Semester only.
