ENT 211 - Managing Financial and Social Returns Credits: 3
Prerequisite(s): ECO 101WI or ECO 211 . This course examines topics in financial and managerial accounting used by social entrepreneurs to measure performance and make strategic business decisions. Emergent practices within financial management and impact measurement of social enterprises are explored. Topics include triple-bottom-line accounting, impact measurement and reporting, and measuring the correlation between operating performance and impact sustainability. Students also explore the principles of transparency and democratic governance while creating social value.
