CIS 305 - Application Programming II Credits: 3
Prerequisite(s): CIS 205 . This course is a continuation of the Application Programming I and introduces students to advanced features in object-oriented programming. Topics to be covered include collections, windows programming, event-based programming, inheritance, partial classes, interfaces, polymorphism, handling exceptions, working with files and databases and web-based applications. Upon completion, students should be able to design, code, test, and debug computer programs based on business requirements using a modern object-oriented programming language. As much as possible, student programming projects will be representative of typical real-world business applications. Spring semester. A lab fee is required for this course.
