PSY 345 - Psychology of Autism Credits: 3
Prerequisite(s): PSY 101, PSY201 and six additional hours in Psychology This survey course provides a broad overview of Autism Spectrum Disorders and related topics in psychology. It includes typical and atypical child development; history of diagnosis, controversies, interventions, the role of culture and social service systems. Additionally, quality of life issues and the psychological impacts upon individuals and families will also be emphasized.
