The Sustainability Studies minor is an interdisciplinary program that prepares students for global, responsible citizenship with a firm grounding in the natural and social sciences, with support from the humanities, strategic communication, and the liberal arts. Students explore ways to promote ecological and environmental health, create economic welfare, and pursue social justice in our ever-changing world. In addition, students gain understanding of the interdependence of these three objectives and investigate how they can best be pursued over time on local, national, and global levels.
