Public History Minor

Students minoring in Public History must take a minimum of 18 credits. The minor requirements for History majors differs from that for other majors, as indicated below.
History majors may not double-count courses for the minor and their major. No student may count courses taken towards General Education towards their minor or double-count courses in their major for their minor (ex: If a History major is also an Anthropology major, they may not count a course twice if wishing to include an Anthropology course as an elective for the minor.)

Choose two of the following courses
Minor for History Major
In addition to the above, students majoring in History will select two electives outside the discipline from the pre-approved list, or others approved in advance by the director.
Minor for Non-History Majors
In addition to the above, students with non-History majors will choose two other HIS courses at the 300 or 400 level.
