Heritage speakers
Heritage speakers must take a placement test to determine the course level. After that they follow the requirements for major or minor.
Minor for native speakers
Native speakers complete the minor after taking 5 courses above SPA 324 . Native speakers cannot enroll into 100 and 200 level courses.

Required Courses
The Spanish minor consists of 21 credits (seven courses).
In addition to the core courses, students must take 3 SPA courses at the 300 or 400 level.
